Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument

The Cuyahoga County Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument commemorates those who served in the American Civil War. Dedicated and opened on July 4, 1894, this monument was designed by architect and Civil War veteran Levi Scofield. Located in the Southeast corner of Public Square, the monument is free to the public. 

Splash Pad

Cool off at Public Square’s Splash Pad every day from 6AM-Midnight through October! Stop by the Downtown Cleveland Game Station located by the Splash Pad. We have fun activities for all ages, including toys, games, and sports equipment loaned out for free play every day in August from 10AM-2PM.

Cleveland Foundation Ice Skating Rink

Make timeless holiday memories in the heart of Cleveland at the Cleveland Foundation Ice Skating Rink. The ice skating rink is currently closed for the season. Please check back in November for the opening date.
